Fulton County is not really apples to oranges - that salary I believe is for the city manager, an appointed person who has actual qualifications (similar to the way that the school board operates).  The rest are elected.

With that said, what happened in San Antonio, and am I eligible to run?

Peyton's salary is peanuts up against the Gate $$$$. Herb talked to his puppet worm and we all know it. But Peyton works for the interests of the rich as most of council does, and we all know that as well...

I don't expect a dime of developer money, but I do hope some people who are so completely sick of the crap like this support me....
We only have a few truly honest and completely decent elected officials....
They play games and make trades and deals, and while they play that game sometimes to do good work, a deal with Satan is still a deal with Satan.
Peyton needs to produce that veto simply because he promised he would.
It should be about honor, and keeping his word....
I hope some of you maybe consider running for office as well, because we could do so much better.....

Not that this has anyting to do with Peyton or his dad, but you do know that you will not be running against Mia Jones, right?

Also, I don't think she is that tied to Peyton.  Remember the Brad Thoburn thing?  She was one of I believe four council members to vote against Peyton's request to wave the Planning Director requirements.

Mia is leaving her seat, which by rights she "promised" to represent the residents of District 10, for Terry Fields seat because he's at term limits... The up his anus joke is because it shows who she works for and how....   she is clearly in the pocket of the money that runs the show....
I'm running against her hand picked replacement, Angela Nixon, and King H is coming back like a bad rash, and Reggie Brown, who I really can't say any bad against that much. I voted for him last time around. I just think I'm better for the job, because he'll represent the black community on the NE side of 10, but I doubt any of them from up there gives a damn about Cedar Hills, Normandy or Marietta.... none ever have.
Mia is running against Pat L-F and they are running against Don Foy, who I am crossing party lines to support because he's a great guy and has a good moral compass.

so I don't think the dems have a decent candidate for state 14....
I think I'm best to represent 10, because 10 is working class...
and because I AM NOT part of the political machine that everyone complains about.
I am the outsider that thinks what stinks needs to go.
