                   I'm new to the Jacksonville area (I live in the Southside area) and happened to come across your site tonight.  All I can say is WOO-HOO!!!  I've been reading for a couple hours now and have learned more about Jacksonville tonight then I have in the past 8 months that I've lived here  AND everyone on here seems to be both intelligent and witty.  Can't beat that combination!!  I'm willing to help where I can in making Jacksonville the city it could be.  I've spent time in Orlando, Atlanta and NYC and have wondered since I moved here why Jacksonville is a bit rundown downtown, especially given it's size and history.  Please don't take offense because I love it here and am looking forward to learning/experiencing more of this great city.  Take care everyone!
