Man really love this place, have been twice and enjoyed everything! Had the Pad Thai, Green Curry, an Eggplant dish, vegetable soup all of it very tasty and the prices were right 8-12 per dinner en tree. Also there Thai Tea rocks. The atmosphere is really nice, lots of wood work and great staff.

^It's in that little strip mall where Hurricane Wings and Tijuana Flats is located.  We were in a little over a month ago and were very happy with the food.

OK, between Venetia Village and Target.

I loooove this place. I go quite a bit for lunch before work, and they always bring out a spring roll and some soup--I'm a vegetarian so I asked if they had meat in them, the owner said yes and that she was sorry. The last time I went in, she said "oh hello!" and brought me a little bowl of tofu-veggie soup and a veggie spring roll. I didn't even remind her or anything, it was great. They have tasty food, great prices, and are concerned with having happy customers. :)

We checked this place out last week & loved it too.  I have to say the parking can be pretty tight on the weekends considering that they share a disproportionate parking lot with T-Flats & Hurricane Grill.  While excited about the prospect of another Thai place at the former Preservation Chop House location (as rumored in another thread), I hope that 2 can survive in such close proximity.

Because of the decor and location, the one going in at the old Preservation Chop house location is probably going to be more like Pom's or Pattya Thai.

Got to try Thuptin Thai.  Didn't even know it was there.

Thuptin Thai has good decor/nice atmosphere too!

Food is delicious, reasonable, and owners offer fantastic customer service

Stopped in at Thuptin Thai for lunch after reading posts above.  One of the servers told me that they have been open about four months.  Feels like a much more polished and established place.  Looks like a family operation.

Fantastic service, really good food, good prices at lunch, too.  Good sized lunch crowd already including some native Thais.  Plenty of people from NAS.

They have really nice decor and a couple of semi-private booths for larger parties.

The menu is arranged by category of dishes and you have choice of beef, pork, shrimp or tofu on most of them.

Recommended!

Finally had a chance to try this place last Saturday. What a great little place! Was glad to see a steady flow of customers. Restaurant is spotless, service courteous, food outstanding, fresh, and unque. Lunch menu is daily until 4 PM--most dishes around $6.95-$7.95.

This place is awesome and great for location for me.  Working right near Lime Leaf on Southside, I was spoiled and not wanting to go all the way downtown for Basil.  So the fact that this is within 10 minutes of my home makes it great.  The food is very good.  I really recommend this place.

JAXBYDEFAULT get over here and try this place! Truly some of the best Thai I've had anywhere traveling this country. Affordable too. The Preservation Thai house is already in trouble. That cute little lady owner has set the bar way high for the new S. Carolina folks to hit.

Let the Thai wars begin! We all win.
