Wow, the Jaguars have surprised me. I stand corrected!

My prediction for a 9-7 season looks like it will be an 8-8 season with no playoff appearance, woo hoo! Let's start rallying everyone for season ticket sales now, you just KNOW everyone's gonna be excited about next season.

I'll be excited when they get a good pass rush and qb.

Jason

A rebuilding young team looking prime for at least a couple good draft picks....

I think the Jags will be MUCH improved next season and if I had the coin I would spring for season tix in a heartbeat.

Still looking forward to going to a couple games at least.

Win or lose, I love me some Jacksonville Jaguars NFL football!

A complete roster turnover, the most rookies in the NFL and they were in the playoff hunt until week 17.

Unfortunately this team, past and present, does not rebound well after losses.  3 straight losses in December and I think they will lose to the suddenly "hot" Browns.  I picked them to go 8 -8 and I think it will be 7 - 9 now.  But, they do have some good potential but Lord they need some sort of pass rush.

Believe it or not, the Jags still have an outside, albeit near impossible, shot at the playoffs. If they can win, and Denver, Baltimore, Pitt, NY Jets, and Houston lose, we're in! (thats for # 5 spot.. if any four of the 5 lose, we'd get the number 6).

Even though we most likely will not make the playoffs, to not get eliminated until game number 16 with so many new faces to the team, and to the NFL is pretty darn good.  Those people who keeps saying "Fire Jack Del Rio" or "Draft Tim Tebow" have obviously never watched the NFL.

I'm pleased with the season at 7-9 or 8-8, and can't wait to renew!  Go Jags!

Good seasons, bad seasons, encouraging seasons like this one....I'm there!

True, and they probably aren't going to buy tickets anyway.

I have watched the Jags since day one. I do not say draft Tebow as I am not sold on him, but I am on the fire Del Rio or sack Garrard band wagon. What has Del rio given us in 7 years other than bad draft picks, mediocre at best seasons, and one lucky playoff experience? We need a change.   Garrard is not the answer. He, like Del Rio, is mediocre at best. He has flashes of brilliance, then lapses into throw the ball 10 ft over the receivers head, or fumble the ball in the red zone, or stand in the pocket and be too indecisive.

We need a QB in the next draft and some pass rush desperately. Our defense was the worst I have seen it, and lets face it, other than one or two games, the product on the field has been abysmal to watch. I wouldn't want to pay anything for the team as it is.

^ Agreed with the defense...that is why Del Rio should go since he is a defense guy...

I did not feel that the Jags would do any better than 8-8 this year. Having said that I am disappointed with the inconsistency and the blow outs.

I have always felt like that in football the three phases of the game are so inter-connected and are key to a successful year.

A good offense improves your defense and vice versa with a strong D and your offense. Special teams can really help out the offense and defense and etc...

Below are some of the reasons we have been very bad at times this year:
Garrard and the Jags lead the NFL in Redzone turnovers with I think nine or ten.
Garrard has been the most hit QB in the league.
We have 14 QB sacks as a team! Elvis Dumervil has 17 sacks by himself.
Three QB completion percentage records have been set this year against the Jags by the opposition
