Just had a vision for our city and it's growing downtown... Where will we be in 10 years? Same place? New growth? Heaven? Hell? How much will our downtown change? Will we finally get something moving that brings the World to Jacksonville and makes the mouse blush? How about urban renewal on crack?

EXPO 2017... THE WORLDS FAIR IN JACKSONVILLE!

It's going to be 34 years since the USA last hosted the Worlds Fair, but a search of online sites show some of the wonders it has brought about. There is that little metal tower in Paris, That famous German Pavilion in Hungary, That space needle in Seattle... oh and a Monorail... Aquarium and WWII museum in New Orleans... Think, what would the World do in downtown Jacksonville for a summer? This years fair is in Korea, it will have 50 MILLION visitors. Now that would be something cool that we COULD DO!
