This appeared on the news tonight. DCF & JSO are involved. The address the vehicle traced back to is now empty and the mobile home was recently put up for rent.

DCF stated that depending on their research the parents are facing a minimum of mandatory parenting classes, maximum could be severe (but didn't specify).

I imagine that is where it would be, unless whatever they discover during the investigation requires something a bit more harsh.

I believe it was CBS...  they had the same pics in this thread and went to the address showing the for rent sign. They also spoke with JSO & DCF on camera. Apparently, this was a major outcry by folks wanting answers and calling both JSO & the news station.

Wow, I'm not surprised "Action news" ran the story, they suck as a station to begin with.

I would not be shocked to see this picked up by some national news outlets, most likely Fox News.

Why is it bad to run this story?

I never said it was bad, but Action News is known for their less than stellar reporting and coverage.

They seem to take the Fox news approach. Sort of like when Bill O'Reilly is enraged about websites showing photos of underage girls in bikinis, so he shows photos of underage girls in bikinis.

Seriously, they're blowing this way outta proportion. The whole damn community doesn't need to know, and quite a few probably don't give a damn. Just notify the authorities instead of turning this into a big scene, which Action News is good at.

During NCIS-LA, they just "teased" they are going to have more on the story on their 10pm (Fox) and 11pm (CBS) newscasts.

Also, remember that November is a "ratings sweeps" month - so these kind of stories get a lot of play.
