Hello from R'side

Just wanted to introduce myself.  I've been visiting metjax for quite awhile but just recently joined- had to put my 2 cents in as well.

I live in r'side with my wife & 2 dogs and am very interested in seeing and contribution to the continued revitalization of all of Jacksonville's historic &/or in-town neighborhoods.  As a 4th generation FL native, I feel that there are enough impacted lands in Jacksonville already that we should never have to clear another acre of Florida's already threatened natural communities to make way for more chokeleaf plantations or crockatees.  But don't get me started.

For a while I thought that everyone had disappeared; went in the other forum numeorus times and nothing...then walla, all of y'all are here!  This seems to be working much, much better any way.  Recommend dismantling the other forum and going with this one.  Glad to be back in the mix, in the mix, in the mix.......(broken record?).
