Dim sum?

So... I've managed to have dim sum like twice in Jacksonville at this Chinese place on San Jose Blvd. However, that was forever ago.

Anyone know anything about if somewhere stills serves dim sum in Jacksonville?

I don't know about the food item, but in English, I'll be damned if it doesn't sound like something served on the fourth floor of City Hall.

DIM SUM!

Bamboo Creek on Baymeadows Rd. has dim sum.   They are in the old Bennigan's building.  I heard good things from a friend who went there over the weekend.

Anyone else have an experience there?

That was Hong Kong Bistro? It just closed very recently. As far as I know, there are now only two places that serve it fresh (pushing the carts) on weekends. Bamboo Creek just west of I-95 on Baymeadows, and Silver Star on Blanding just north of 103rd. They are both decent, not great. If there are others that I don't know about, please do tell.

It was ok. I just moved back from Chicago, though, so I'm still adjusting my expectations.

Just went to Bamboo Creek this weekend and it was pretty awful. I've gotten better steamed buns from the frozen section of the asian grocery store on University. The actual entree I ordered was seriously horrible, I think they served minute rice and what I was supposed to get was stir fried veggies and chicken, I'm fairly sure that the food was either boiled in a packet or heated in a microwave because there wasn't a damned thing stir fried about it. I'm guessing the dim sum stuff is somewhat authentic. I ordered chicken feet as well and I thought they'd be fried or crispy, instead they were just soggy and gross.
