I'm with you Jason on hating the Titans. The only thing better than the Jags making them OH and FOUR will be when the Colts make them OH AND FIVE next Sunday. Then season over for Tennessee..start looking at next year...

^ My only problem with that is that the Colts will be the one doing it.  They then move another game ahead in the division.

Honestly, I'd rather see the Titans pull of a win against Indy......  I can't believe I said that.

Jaguars goes Chuck Woolery...2 and 2!

Well I thought about that too...but the way the Colts look I don't think 1 loss or even 2 is going to do much to slow them down. I'd still rather see another loss in the Titans loss column.

^ Can I hate the Colts too?

WOOT! I hate that the Colts are in our division.  I don't hate any NFL team as much as I hate certain college teams, but The Steelers and Titans are pretty up there for me.

Order of hate, Titans/Colts are tied, then Steelers/Pats, then Texans.

I know this is becoming cliche' on these Jaguar threads but I have several friends that aren't going to the games this year because they can't afford the prices inside the stadium.  Yes, there are ways to be smart about it like eating before games and parking downtown and walking two miles to avoid paying for parking.  But the games are 3 to 4 hours long and children will get hungry and girlfriends will get thirsty and when you're paying $9.00 for chicken fingers it can start to add up quickly.

The Jaguars are offering many meal deals inside the stadium this year, including family deals, and when I ordered my tickets I received two vouchers for free popcorn/soda/hot dog at the Stadium Classics concessions.

There is an inexpensive shuttle bus to the stadium from several parking lots throughout the city, and I believe it's free from the Kings Ave. and convention center parking lots.  There's never been a requirement to walk two miles, at least not since I started buying tickets.  The water taxi, while slightly more expensive, is also easy (and relaxing) to use and much cheaper than paying for parking.  It lets off at Metro Park and many people use it.

I agree--with seven or so AFC teams at 4-0 or 3-1 and a few others also at 2-2, I think it's our obligation to root for a war of attrition among them.  Though there's something that feels...just...horrible about rooting for Tennessee.

It's really amazing how few people are aware of the family meal combos.

What's worse is that as many times as someone posts or talks about the various deals, it still doesn't register with many.

When my wife went to get a chicken sandwich and a water from the Outback stand yesterday, I told her at least 3 times they had a combo for the sandwich and a drink.  She still ordered a separate sandwich and drink.

It only cost us an additional dollar, so it wasn't that big a deal; but how many other people either don't read the big posters at the concessions stand or fail to heed posts like the above, then complain?

I always root for a meteor in other AFC South match-ups.  ;D  But this time, I'm not so much pulling for the Titans to win as I am for the Colts to lose.  When I think of it that way, it makes me feel better about the whole situation.

Nice game Jags, I have been saying 4-2 on here in a few other threads for a while now, lets keep the momentum going boys. You never know, on "any given sunday" right...... Lets get that Rams game on TV for all these excuse making half ass Jags fans.... Just kidding, I know some people are hard up with the economy or just dont have the means... Im talking about all the complaining fans on all the threads that have every excuse in the book to not go to a game....

No way the Colts loose to a winless team.

Jason

I wouldn't put my money on it, but I wouldn't mind seeing it either.  Manning is fun to watch when he's flustered and upset with himself.  Almost whiney!

Awwww da poor wittle Peyton Manning is having a wittle hissy fit..... Booo Hooo!

There isn't any sense in rooting for Indy to lose.  The Jaguars are not going to win the division.  I shouldn't allow myself to get carried away enough to even say this much, but I do think we have an opportunity to put a run together with a favorable schedule and get to 9-7.  That could make the playoffs, but it is not going to top the Colts.  We need to be rooting for Cincinnati, San Diego/Denver and Houston to lose.  If we can keep up our ascent and continue executing the way we did last week, we can dream of challenging for the last wild card spot.  Indy, Baltimore, NE and NYJ are all going to make the playoffs and have better records than we do.  There will be a champion from the West.  That leaves one spot.  I think it will be us, Cincy and the loser of the AFC west race gunning for it.  Root for those teams to lose and don't create a dirty feeling that will not wash off for weeks by rooting for the Titans.  Just continue rooting for the aforementioned meteor (laced with napalm) during those sorts of games.
