WOW! What a game. Go Jags! Look at the next month. Definitely some winnable games.

This win should help sell some tickets for sure.
Jacksonville: We're not vertically challenged, just horizontally gifted!

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Really??? The take I get on here is that people have no money. SO how is few wins going to put money on the table. People in this city need to realize buying tickets dont translate to wins. Jags should be supported win or lose if your a true fan. Bandwagoners and fair weather fans Reednavy statements applies to you people I guess.

Great game though and both sides of the ball. Go JAGS...

There were so many empty seats in that stadium today.  It was sad.

It's not just wins and losses. It is several years of erratic performances (up one game-horrible the next) that have caused some fans to become apathetic (that in addition to horrific draft picks/free agent acquisitions). If you put a consistent product on the field and play a bit more exciting brand of football (which they have now done in back to back games) the borderline fans return. It is a college mind-set city. You wouldn't believe the amount of folks I know that have jumped the Seminole bandwagon at this point.

I know this is becoming cliche' on these Jaguar threads but I have several friends that aren't going to the games this year because they can't afford the prices inside the stadium.  Yes, there are ways to be smart about it like eating before games and parking downtown and walking two miles to avoid paying for parking.  But the games are 3 to 4 hours long and children will get hungry and girlfriends will get thirsty and when you're paying $9.00 for chicken fingers it can start to add up quickly.

I was at the game. It was a great game. This is the first home game I have been to this year, and although not a sellout, there seemed to be alot of people there. I think the announcent count was 49K, but it seemed higher. Trust me, i have been to some gator bowl games that were sad, but this definitely was not a sad crowd. I think our city is doing well.

I was at the game.  AWESOME experience!!!  Man what a big time win.  GO JAGS!!

DavidWilliams

Tremendous win..if they can stay somewhat consistent (even in losses) the fringe fans will return. The home games will once again become the "go to event".  46,000 hardcore fans...we need the extra 20,000 "fringe" fans to return. Side note: business/corporate spending (cut backs in it) has affected the entire league. Money is not so free and easy on a business or personal/family level right now.

Just watched it on NFL rewind. Looks different on tv or computer. Was a good game for the  Jags that is. Crowd was very loud. Economys bad huh, yet we are the only one facng B/O for the entire season. Some of it maybe the economy, but its more of the sorry people in this city.

Man, what a game!!!  I was really hoping the Jags would put the final nail in the Titans' coffin by breaking 40 points.  IMO, this is bigger than the Houston win.  Tennessee is just one of those teams that I absolutely hate, but I love it when the Jags stomp them into the ground!

Next week in Seattle could be a tough game but if the same Jags team that played yesterday shows up in Seattle we may see another blow-out!
