[5 Points Theatre]

Starting September 25th, we've got Extract, the newest movie from Mike Judge (of Office Space and Idiocracy fame).



Shows at 9:45 every night from 9/25 to 10/1, plus a 4 pm matinee on Saturday, 9/26.

We've also got Inglourious Basterds continuing next week, with shows at 7 pm every night and a 4:15 pm matinee on Sunday, 9/27.



Our midnight movie this week is Dirty Dancing.



Saturday night (the 26th) we're showing the UF vs. Kentucky game at 6 pm.  Admission is free, and we'll also be serving some pretty amazing homemade BBQ pork sandwiches.



Finally, we've got a special presentation of a new movie of the opera La Boheme.  For more information, you can go to the movie website at www.labohemethemovie.com.



We're also working on a couple of longer term projects as well:

Our website has gotten sort of confusing because we've got a lot of different stuff going on.  So we're trying to move into a calendar-style website.  That should happen in the next week or two.

Secondly, we've started a blog focusing on local film news.  Check it out at www.jaxindiefilm.com. 

There's a lot of stuff planned for October, including the Viva Cinema, the Latino Film Festival, the movie Crude, and our Horror Film Festival.

See Casablanca for Free Tonight!  We're celebrating our one year anniversary!



This week's game is Georgia vs. LSU at 3:30.  Next week, we've got UF vs. LSU at 8 pm.



Our midnight movie tonight is Army of Darkness, and we've got horror movies all month long leading up to the 5 Points Horror Festival, starting October 23rd.



And we've got 9 and Jennifer's Body playing for the rest of the week.



9 is at 7 pm (I know, I know...)

Jennifer's Body will play at 9.  It's a horror movie written by the same woman who wrote Juno.
