I decided to go ahead and start the topic today with a positive post a Ravens fan left on Jaguars.com:
" I know I will probably get killed by the Jags fans because I am a Raven Fan, but I wold like to let you guys know that we understand the "No Respect" issue. We don't get any either. In the AFC if you are not the Patroits, Steelers, Colts, or Chargers you do not get much more than a mention. The Jets only cus Rex talks gets press. Press for our record usually gives our wins as something the other team didn't do. So I unerstand.
Yes we are favored and should win, but I do want to tell you that your team does concern us somewhat. Your running attack and defence reminds us of the Ravens a couple years ago and that was a formula we used to beat superior teams.
You guys are growing and I like what I see. I want to wish you luck but not too much to beat us. I feel you do have a real chance to take your division and your style is the kind that could win playoff game. Maybe the NFL media machine does not recognize you, but I do and wanted just to lket you know that. See ya Monday. GO RAVENS!!!!"
I have noticed the media does not recognize Jacksonville, but most teams have mad respect for us. Even in our bad years, we have given alot of teams hell. Upseted Pittsburg in 2007 during the playoffs, caused heartbreak against the Jets in 2009, and let not forgot us causing JJ and Dan Marino to step down after the epic beat down in 99/2000 playoffs. I love our team and will continue to pull for them. Even as a city, we have to love ourself before we expect the nation to love and respect us. Cut the negativity, embrace the good and bad, and lets play ball!
FYI- Titans got smashed by the Texans 41-7!! Seeing them lose will always bring Joy to my heart. (bastards killed out SB dreams).
Exactly what are they to recognize? Duvaldude all you mentioned is a distance memory with no divison titles or SBs to back it up with. Maybe we should be more concerned with the Jaguar organiztion/front office building a team that can make a deep run in the playoffs. Unless were talking about past Super Bowl wins all what we did in the past is pointless.
Hopefully after next yrs draft we will have a contending team.

And heres keith to piss in my teal kool aid. Keith can you be positive for 5 minutes? I know you can be positive for 30 seconds because you have done it before. Lmbo But seriously, just wanted to post something positive in the midst of adversity. We all know the team has issues right now. That is obvious. We know you think we are delusional, don't like the truth, etc etc. You have been heard. Just was nice to see someone elses perspective of our team. That is all.
A typical Keith response LOL. I guess that when we where a young franchise going to the AFC Championship game, and winning the division, that meant nothing in the world of Keith; No one is resting on their laurels concerning going to the AFC Champ game but as a Jags fan, you'd think that would mean something. I can't wait until tomorrow night. Go Jags!!!
Go Jags !

Right! Every franchise goes through ups and downs. And well... we are down right now... but I know it will turn around.. even if it is next season... Im just taking it game by game. And like you said, nobody said anything about us going to the AFC chamionship let alone winning the division Just trying to find positive in a very negative season.
Well then stop with the media BS then. Lets just get through this season. Sorry I am not shaking my pom poms with a gimmie a J A G, but just being realistic. Respect is earned not given. Thats all I'm saying. And the Raven fan is right on many accounts, but the Ravens get much respect in the media, he's wrong about that.

Im a realist also. And from day one, they never respected the Jags, and thats a fact. No one has every respected us as a city, let alone respect our team. They never wanted us to have a team. Even when were a playoff team, we were overlooked. So you can call it media BS, but its the truth. If you are not certain teams, no matter how much you win, you will not get recongition. And that is the god honest truth. For example, look at the Texans. The best record they had (so far) is 9-7, never been to the playoffs but yet every year their the NFL's media golden child to win the division. (not to mention there team is 9 years old) My whole point is, bump what anyone has to say and love our team in spite of.

You spend to much time worrying about the media I think. Just ignore and dont read the articles, thats what I do. DONT worry I'll supply you with the negativity. :) just kidding, I'll try to be more up beat.

Yep they've knocked the Ravens out of the playoffs many times. Not to mentioned the team left in the middle of the night, lol
Whats amazing to me is how one man can carry a entire team. I hear that Colts fans are upset because the Colts management have ingnored their problems on defense for years and now they are paying for it. They cant stop a nose bleed. 55-7??????
Its getting real ugly in New Orleans tonight.

yeah...I don't think the playoff games are an issue...Bob Irsay and the Mayflower moving trucks in March 1984 is the real story.
that said, Baltimore is thrilled with the Ravens...and after tonight, Indy fans will be wearing bags over their heads :)
Ever notice how when the Colts play the Ravens, the score board says Indy and not the Colts.

Bags?? No thats when you get plastic surgery and start cheering for another team LOL
Well 2 mins left Saints shouldnt score again, I hope. This just what the Dr. ordered INDY and their fans who think they should win every game. I love it
Thank God that massacre is over. Colts RIP. :)
Tonight is definitely a baseball night; The World Series is getting pretty good with TEX and STL tied up at 2-2. I watched about 2 minutes of that IND vs NO game; LOL, It's was like a boring predictable college rout, like LSU vs The Citadel or something.
So stoked for the game tonight.
Who else is going???
My group will be at Marks for HH and tailgating, We'll then walk on down to Everbank.
Leaving Gainesville today at 5pm I'm there sec 103, they're giving out free stuff to the first 30 thou, so I'm going early.

No. I was pretty happy. Having Tebow start struck fear in my heart because I thought the Dolphins would fall into a win, thus damaging our "Suck for Luck" campaign. I fell asleep in disgust with the Fins up 15-0 and Tebow not being able to hit the side of a barn on pass plays. Luckily, I woke up just in time to see them go spread eagle at the goal line to send the game into OT. Everybody in the stadium and watching on TV, except the Dolphin defense, knew Tebow was running that thing up the middle. Classic.
That allowed QB Matt Moore to do his magic that eventually resulted in Matt Strafford to Detroit and Cam Newton to Carolina. So all is good in Joe Robbie Stadium as far as I'm concerned. The only thing that clouded my day is the Colts look worse than the Dolphins do.
With games against the Giants, Chiefs and Redskins, the campaign may hit some turbulence over the next three weeks. If the Dolphins can find a way to not back into a win against any of those three, the remaining lineup against New England, NY Jets, Buffalo twice, Dallas, Oakland and Philly should put us in strong position for Andrew Luck!
The only thing that could damage this dream is Indy. I thought losing to Tebow would have been bad enough, but the Colts one-upped us with that showing last night. Good grief, they are horrible.
Well Lake its neck and neck with the Colts for sure. I just hope by the time the Jags play the Colts their defense has completely checked out. Hey the Redskins and Chiefs games maybe winnable.
^Don't say that. You might jinx them. They are going to need all the losses they can get to beat out the Colts.

I was just on the Ravens wesite. They are really afraid of this game. the articale is titled, " Why the Ravens will not over look Jax." They even said, " The Jaguars are not as bad as their 1-5 record shows. The have a elite running back and top ten defense." One of their players is afraid of being embarassed on national TVand they know we were embarassed last year and are looking to redeem our selfs. However, then there's an article stating they are looking to confuse Gabbert.
PS. Dear Keith, just posting something positive the opposing team had to say about us. Not saying were going to superbowl or anything.
For fantasy football purposes, I need the Jags to shut down Ray Rice but don't throw to Mike Sims Walker. Pull that off and I'll win in both of my leagues, lol.
TUFSU are you going to be at the game in your MJD jersey or did you dye your Lenny Moore jersey Purple?

Dont worry I know the difference. Its good to read that they are a little worried. I just hope the Jags show up this year.
Could be an interesting game. I believe in our players although coaching has to change. Baltimore has so many similarities to Jacksonville as a city, team and identity. Blue collar, maritime tradition, border states (Jax is part southern, part Florida).
Now on coaching, let's get through this year but let me throw a name out there for next year- Jeff Fisher anyone?

If our offense can get SOMETHING going it will be a close one. I think they keys are getting Lewis AND Sims Walker more invovled tonight. That may help .

Calm down I-10... like alot of jags fans... I am a transplant. Born in Wisconsin I bleed Green and Gold. Who cares what kind of jersey he wears? I don't care if he wears pajamas and a bag over his head. As long as he bought a ticket, he's supporting the team in some way/shape/form. We love to get caught up in respect and the "whose your team" mentality. I couldn't give a damn, as long as the games are sold out. What I've hated most about the Jags lately is not losing. It's worrying about blackouts and being scared we won't have a team a decade from now.
My bad tufsu.
I think losing and blackouts sometimes goes hand and hand. How many winning teams are worried about Blackouts? not many. I think we will have a good crowd tonight. Something I read on the Jaguars site was that the team needs to keep the game close, because the crowd needs to believe that they are still in it. Let's hope they play well all 4 qrts.
From Jaguars.com. This puts things into perspective and also hits my view points head on:
Damien from Jacksonville:
As a lifelong Jets fan and an adopted Jags fan and season-ticket holder since moving to Jacksonville 11 years ago I wanted to say that some people around here don't get it. Teams tend to go in cycles, meaning that teams have runs of success and then down periods. Don't you agree? Growing up in Northwest Pa, I saw the Browns (of all teams) dominate for years and the Steelers fans complain about Chuck Noll of all people. I saw the Bills go to four straight Super Bowls only to struggle for the next 15 years. As a Jets fan...well, you know. Please people, stop complaining about the Jags. Their "down" years have been entertaining and they have tended to be competitive even when they were not supposed to be good. As someone who once hoped Browning Nagle would help his team win 5-6 games I say enjoy the NFL week to week and sooner than later your team will compete, especially when they build the roster the right way like GM Gene.
John: What you wrote is exactly correct and is the overriding truth of the NFL. As a long-time Redskins fan until the mid-1990s, I grew up with a team that sniffed the playoffs a few times, then followed them through a phenomenally successful era with Joe Gibbs as coach. Since then, they have had two decades mostly marked by frustration and overspending. I have made the point several times that one thing you have to give the Jaguars credit for is that their down years have been very competitive â€" perhaps more than they should have been. The key now is the quarterback. If Gabbert works out, the Jaguars are probably entering a memorable era.

Well.. Tampa actually did well last year... and are doing as good this year. And they cant get tickets sold to save their life. So thats not a cure all in every situation. Heck even when the Jags were winning a few year back we were still fighting the blackout bug. Last I checked, so far we are 26th in the league for attendance so far this season. After the " Jax doesnt support that thier" in 2009 we are well from the bottom in attendance. The bengals are the bottom this year followed by Tampa and the Raiders I believe.
I never understood the concept in mixing the garb of two teams who are playing each other myself; Maybe if I was Archie Manning and an IND vs NYG game took place, then that would be acceptable. To each it's own.

oh don't wory...the Jags jacket is black...no clashing colors here :)
Well it is 4:41 AM and I have waken up thinking about the game and can not go to back to sleep. I still cant believe. Sure, we made some mistakes. Sure, we're still struggling in the red zone, but we found a way to win. There were also alot of dropped balls, which takes a toll on sunshine completion percentage. We played knock your head off defense and some down home "run the ball and kill the clock" Jaguar football. And of course...scobee. This game showed me alot about their determination. We were dealt a very shitty hand this year, and they took that and came out on top. And gabbert is sticking in there. He may not look as good on paper as the other rookie QB's, but none of them have the grueling schedule we have. This kid has already played through a freakin monsoon and bene attacked and sacked by some of the NFL's best defenses back, to back to back. And he gets back up and does it all over again. Mark my words, we are something special in the making....
PS Jason Hill is really starting to make me proud. And Cecil Short's is just there for comic relief. We should have put in Chastin West in his place.

EDIT: They just showed the full skyline. Um... Why is the Wells Fargo sign not lit up? Wasn't that one of their main reasons for moving? More exposure?
Espn is showing stock video-hence the Modis sign
Oh lol. I couldn't see what that said. I just assumed they were showing a live video.
Yeah I was a little weirded out as well. Either ESPN is lazy, or they don't think this game is worth the $$ (paying cameramen to take new photos and canvas the area).
It was probably a combination of both. It's a shame they didn't get any new pictures.

They shut them off after a certain time. I believe at 10. Im not sure why they would not have been on tonight though
Ben says that the Modis sign was still up there. They used old pictures.
One word for the jags defense... IMPRESSIVE! Certainly Ravens ineptitude played a factor but by far the best defense I have seen in the entire NFL this year. :)
Exhausted.
Going to be useless until I get a few cups of coffee into me.
Incredible defense, incredible kicking, and a genuinely ugly performance by the offense.
To give credit where it's due, I do think that JDR and company coached a hell of a game last night.

They didn't empty out until around 12:15am, and then we weren't able to pull out of F lot until 1am. So, yeah a weeeeee bit sluggish this morning. But I'll take it every time for a win! 8)
Great game last night. The stadium was electrified! Now I just need to wake up.

Yeah, just around midnight if I recall correctly.
Crowd looked great, though it was a strange decision to have all the extra seating out.
I'd guess 65,000 last night.
It was a rowdy crowd too.

On a side note, I was flipping through some coverage this morning on my DVR, and man did downtown look dark. It was new footage, as the Wells Fargo sign was up and the fountain was post-renovation.
Does anyone know if other cities kick in and help pay for downtown uplighting?
Our Downtown is dark. The property managers of most of the buildings do not care about lighting up the towers. They did it for the Super Bowl and after that nothing. It also helps to have a little nudging from the Mayor's office.
Wow, what a game. The defense looked bad-ass out there.
Has anyone else heard the rumor about Fred Smith (FedEx) buying Weaver's share of the Jaguars? I heard it from a couple different sources last night that would have a reason to be know.

ESPN did a small piece ( I think it was at the request of Weaver) about how unlikely it was that the jags would be sold ... and even more unlikely that they would move. It was mentioned that if and when Weaver would sell... Smith would be a likely candidate... provided he commited to staying in Jax.
I'm happy for all of the Jags fans who enjoyed the game.
Now how can the rest of us benefit from our collective investment in this team?
The Saints did a lot for New Orleans post-Katrina. What can we expect from the Jags?
Here is a start...
http://jacksonville.com/tu-online/stories/062307/met_179533193.shtml
QuoteIn an unprecedented show of philanthropy, Jacksonville Jaguars co-owners Wayne and Delores Barr Weaver announced Friday $21 million in donations to 38 Northeast Florida nonprofit organizations.
The Weavers personally donated to groups they selected based on various educational, cultural and social contributions to the community. The United Way of Northeast Florida's full-service schools received the most with $1,625,000. Ten others were given $1 million....
Charitable contributions from the owners of NFL teams are a very inefficient way to redistribute wealth. They take part of the money that we give them and turn it over to recipients of their own choosing.
What we really need is something like the bounce that New Orleans got from the Saints.

Would somebody please bench Cecil shorts? We wasted two or three downs on him last night. We just should have kept Sims-Walker in all night in his place.
We have work to do to sell out our next two home games. 12 ,000 plus for the Houston game and 11,000 plus for the Charges Monday Night game.

Short can not call a ball PERIOD. I have no clue why we have him out there. He has not caught one ball in six games. having him out there is pointless.

Did jimmy "offically" retire as a Jaguar? I thought he just retired from the game. I know he was having alot of issues back then, so Im sure he retired as a Jaguar. Brunell will be retiring next year and heading back to Ponte Vedra. So he should be up next as well
I have a new respect for Fred Taylor...
Of course we all love him for being one of the best to wear the Teal, but last night I was leaving the stadium at about 1am.. obviously Fred was visiting with the team, etc after the game because he was coming out at the same time. Fans were still outside the gate and he stopped, signed autographs, took pics, laughed, shook hands and everything for a good 10-15 minutes. (with no jacket on) LOL!!!
Good dude!!!
I was just on the Ravens website snooping, and I see they did an article on the 18th calling us their "expansion debry rivals". The article when on to state that they dont understand how Jacksonville and Carolina even got teams. And that Jacksonville is in the bottom of attendance every single year. ( only happened in 2009, so they need to get their facts staright) I cant believe people are still upset about us having a team 16 years later. yes their team got moved and got turned for an expansion team, but they have a team now, so why cry over something that happened in 1993??
Ladies and Gentlemen, people hate us because of jealousy. They never wanted us to have a team and never will. No matter WHAT we do. They hated us even more because of all records we broke and we were making exapsion franchise history.
So our victory last night made me feel even better after reading that.

Not sure if he retired a Jaguar or not. I know he had some off the field issues but he was one of the top receivers of his era. From 96-05, he was pretty much guaranteed to hit 1000 yards every year. He needs to be up there.

With 7.469 million viewers and a 3.3 adults 18-49 ratings Monday Night Football with the Ravens & Jaguars was way down for the second week in a row (two weeks ago it had a 6.9 adults 18-49 rating, even in football, matchups matter). From what I read, this was not a shock. The MNF rating have been going down every week since the season started. Whether its the lowest ever, is yet to be seen. However, this game was such a huge upset, I can see people not wanting to watch it. But hey I dont care. We won and Ravens feel like crap today. Mission accomplished
Quote from: duvaldude08 on October 26, 2011, 01:02:11 AM
However, this game was such a huge upset, I can see people not wanting to watch it.
I don't think it being an upset had anything to do with the low numbers; Remember, it's not like the Jags had a 21 to nothing lead at the end of the first quarter like the Sunday game between IND vs NO(BTW I'm curious about those ratings; I'll be shocked if they aren't below average). Although most of the nation founded the game to be boring to watch due to bad offensive play, it was competitive all the way throughout the fourth quarter, with the Ravens still having a chance to win at the end. Besides America loves rooting for the underdog more than you think.
IMO the reason why that game had such low numbers was...
1. The matchup, not an attractive matchup between the 4-1 Ravens and the 1-5 Jags; People probably guessed that it was gonna be a Ravens rout without even tuning in.
2. The game went head to head against Game 5 of the World Series (STL vs TEX)
3. No storylines; What's the storyline between these two teams, Dawan Landry playing his old team? Not exactly a must see for the nation.
4. Awful offensive play throughout the entire game.
Ken said that he hope that MNF game didn't hurt us on getting any more in the future; I doubt if one badly rated game deters MNF from coming back to Jax; The Jags had regular(maybe even above average) rated games before in the past. There is no consistent link concerning 'lowly rated MNF games' and Jacksonville for them not to return to Jax.
Monday night is no longer the premium for the NFL (which was obvious by the quality of the officiating crew at the game)...that has been given to NBC and Sunday night.
As such, ratings for Monday night games over recent years do nto compare with the past
^^^Good point. When MNF was on ABC, the ratings where higher than they are now on ESPN. Contrary to most people's belief, not everyone has cable, or dish. Broadcast channels (like FOX, ABC, NBC, and CBS) are ratings juggernauts compared to cable channels.
I wasnt alive for the Cosell days, but I loved watching MNF as a kid when it was Al Michaels and Frank Gifford. It always seemed like an event. And this was during the 80's, the heyday of the Niners, Bears, Redskins, Elway and Marino.
The ESPN version of MNF is pretty light weight and Gruden is terrible.

We weren't even last in attendance in 2009; we were 30th, ahead of Detroit and Oakland.
Speaking as a native Marylander, Baltimore seems obsessed with complaining that it was passed over in expansion in 1993. The lingering bitterness was obvious in certain fans' behavior on Monday night. Lots of efforts to try to start Los Angeles smack talk in particular. Also, late last year or earlier this year, in that ESPN documentary about the Colts' marching band, a number of Colts fans whined about how Jacksonville possibly could have gotten an expansion team over Baltimore. This happens in print, as Duvaldude noted, every time the Jags play the Ravens.
You'd think after they felt the pain of losing a team in 1984 they wouldn't laugh about the prospect for another city (or lead with their chins in trash talking, since the obvious response is "didn't your city actually lose a team?"). Of course, considering these people mourn and faint and shoot documentaries about the agony of having their team stolen in 1984, but see no problem with stealing another city's team in 1996, they seem to have little sense of irony or proportion.

Has anyone else heard the rumor about Fred Smith (FedEx) buying Weaver's share of the Jaguars? I heard it from a couple different sources last night that would have a reason to be know.
I heard this about two weeks ago from a good source. Mr. Smith would like to buy a team and has looked at the financing prospects for the Jags. He also sits on the Board at the Mayo clinic as a tie to the community. A good factor for us is a team in Memphis is not probable. I believe there have been discussions.
Dan Hicken actually brought this up on the radio a few months ago as he had heard rumors. A couple things I wonder about. Fred Smith is in his late 60's, so it would not be an ideal buyer even if he is 100% committed to Jacksonville. I did find out that he has a son that is an assistant coach with the Titans and played college football at UNC. If this rumor is true, I wonder what percentage his kids would have.
If I recall correctly from the documentary (which was great by the way), wasn't Jacksonville one of the cities trying to steal the Colts from Baltimore back in 1984? That could certainly lead to some bad blood.

That would be understandable but it doesn't seem to be the Ravens' fans main objection. They are more hung up on 1993.
Jacksonville did try to swipe the Colts, though it wasn't a player in 1984. Colt owner Bob Irsay started shopping for a new city in the late 70s and Jacksonville made its famous "Colt Fever" bid for the team. Memphis and Phoenix were also making entreaties to Irsay. At that point Irsay decided not to move, but continued to pressure Baltimore for a new stadium. Then Indianapolis emerged as a suitor and Jacksonville and Memphis more or less faded. By the time the pressure came to a head in early 1984 - when Maryland threatened to seize ownership of the Colts by eminent domain - the two cities considered serious contenders for the Colts were Indianapolis and Phoenix, and Irsay hurriedly put together the deal with Indianapolis and moved the team in the middle of the night.
I should add that I thought the documentary was great too, but was struck at both the insults to Jacksonville and the complete lack of remorse for stealing a team from Cleveland after all the lamentations over the theft of the Colts. It also neglected to mention Baltimore's serious attendance problems in the early 80s (granted, the team was awful, but they had a lot fewer people in the stands than even we had with our 2009 debacle).

Event TV is dead. There are simply to many other options both for football fans and non-fans to make MNF a big draw anymore. Even people who might now be interested in whatever game is one can record it easily. There's no way this (or any other television "event") will ever be as big as they once were.
One thing I will say. We have a GREAT fan base. We are stucking by them through the rough times and I guarentee that is helping them ALOT. If that stadium was empty, those guys would have given up by now. Dang Hicken even made mention how are other florida counter parts are struggling to fill their stadium and sales tickets, and we are not. Yeah we get extensions, but on game day is always 62,000 people in the seats. I loved the crowd and the energy Monday night. The fans definately was a condience booster for them Im sure.

Sure they are. Matchups matter. No one in the rest of the US cares about the 1-5 Jaguars. They REALLY didnt care when they were playing the Ravens... who "everybody knew" was going to crush them. The MNF rating for the first game of the season GB vs NO were through the roof. Last years Super Bowl did very well in the ratings.
Matchups matter... importance of the outcome... matters.
^That's what I mean. In former times the viewer had less choice as to what they got to watch, so people who wanted to see some football watched what was available in their area. MNF was big because the whole country was watching. Nowadays with cable and satellite TV the interested can see really any game, not to mention other programs, and don't need to worry about MNF unless it's going to be a good one.
And even those who are interested in the Monday night game can record it easily and watch it when they feel like.

Despite the record low rating, when I said that I hope the rating doesn't cause Jacksonville to be overlooked for Monday Night games, I wasn't talking overall television patterns, but rather
relative ratings compared to other MNF numbers. If we look at last year's average MNF rating (a 10.5), the 5.8 number that the Ravens/Jags game did was, all other excuses aside, absolutely dreadful. I agree though that matchups are a key selling point, and this matchup was pretty rough from a national interest point of view.
And, not to go off on a side rant, but I would probably argue that sports is pretty much the only "Event Viewing" left on television, as evident by Monday Night Football scoring the six highest rated broadcasts in cable television history last season. People want to watch sports on TV live, as it happens. Something very significant (and actually measurable, if you look at things like tape-delayed Olympic ratings versus live) is lost by watching sports after the fact.
Jacksonville is a super small market, and hopefully the NFL realizes that our Monday Night games need to be against larger markets than Baltimore in order to rate well.
I think this is much more of a perceived quality of matchup than a market size issue. Most people thought the game would be a blowout because it was a 1-5 against a 4-1. I'd imagine the Colts-Saints rating was stinky by SNF standards too. Lower than normal ratings have not been a pattern in Jaguar prime time games.

To add to your point, I think that for use most of our MNF games have been division games, which always seem to be popular regard of the team. But for the most part, if it is no divisional game or two very popular teams playing, nobody is going to watch. To top things off, you can only watch on ESPN if your outside the market. Believe or not everybody has cable. I have cable for the first time since last August. Ive been out on my own since I was 18 and 29 now so do the math. I could never afford it. And I actually just dropped to basic cable recently. LOL

A little birdy just told me that Paul Spicer is the assistan D-line coach and has been all season! I had no idea. Also, was just on Jimmy Smith's facebook and he said that he wanted to come back and helped the Jags in anyway he could and was asking for ideas on how he could help. His wife and son even talked to him about it! LOL Its good to see that they are long gone, but they LOVe this team and this city. We desperately need Jimmy right now to help our wide Receivers.
Carl Spicer, eh?
Good ol Karl...er...Carl...er Paul... :)

I got some pictures of Paul during warmups. I'll try to post them when I get a chance.
