I have a Passport and a birth certificate from Puerto Rico. That makes me Puerto Rican? lol  I will def. go home using this service only.

This news doesn't excite me at all. PR as a tourist destination is not what it used to be. It bothers me to stay in a hotel surrounded by barbed wire. 

A bigger disappointment is JIA which is a misnomer. It is definitely not an international airport. The name is fake.

Stay in another hotel. PR has its bad spots, even Hawaii does.

I know quite a few people that drive to Orlando or Samford to fly to Puerto Rico to visit family. This is good news for them.

PR is a beautiful country, I have lived there. Sadly, crime in PR is endemic.
Hawaii also has its bad spots, but to compare the two? Pfftt!

After talking to a very pleasant "Gail" from Jet Blue, I have this update

but....DOESN'T"T START TILL SUMMER 2011. ARRRRRHHHHH!

So, let's ignore that pesky profitable fall tourist season and wait till peak hurricane time. The only people headed to anywhere in the islands that time of year are visiting relatives or working.
