No mention in the news today of the formal Japanese surrender on board the USS Missouri.

NBC had a piece on their national news, focusing on a vet who was on the Missouri for the signing of the surrender.  He is disabled and has terminal cancer, and an organization (like Make a Wish, but for adults) flew him to Hawaii and took him to the Big Mo.  Nice story.
