Along way from where I grew up...

I came upon this site while conducting a search for "Uncle John's Pancake House" and I LOVE it. I've never really been home sick until I started looking at this site. The photos and memories people talk about really hit home with me.

I grew up moving around the Springfield/Riverside/Avondale/Westside areas of Jacksonville during the late 60's until 2001 when I moved out of state. I'm now living in Minnesota and I laugh my butt off when I hear the people here complain about the humidity  .
