Blacked out

Jaguars fans will have to buy a ticket for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium to watch it.

The Jaguars announced today that the game will be blacked out and not televised in the Jacksonville area. The team said about 4,000 tickets still remain to be sold for the game.

Last week's season opening game to Tennessee (a 13-10 loss) was televised locally after the Jaguars requested an extension to sell less than 2,000 unsold tickets. This time, the Jaguars did not request an extension from the NFL.
