QuoteThe Axemen defeated the Aston Bulls 42 to 26 in Aston, PA Saturday to return to Jacksonville with a perfect undefeated regular season for the second year in a row. Although the Axemen are the first to admit this record means absolutely nothing after being in the same situation in 2009 and losing the National Championship game.

The Axemen will start intense playoff preparation Monday with sessions 4 times per week to ensure that the 2009 result is not repeated.  The Axemen will now wait for the result from the final regular season game between the Aston Bulls and the Philly Fight this Wednesday to determine how the playoffs game will shape up.

First round of the playoffs will be Aug 14 at UNF.  It is rumored that the playoff game will be an evening kickoff (7:00pm), if the details can be worked out with UNF.  The team is also hoping to break the attendance record for the 3rd game running.

Wow, Kudos to the Axemen!  With them and the Sharks doing so well and the new naming rights for the stadium maybe the Jags are destined for greatness this year!

Gooooo JagAxeSharks!

Tis truely amazing what a winning team (in any sport) can do for attendance..........too bad the Jag's don't think that way! They wonder why they can not fill what is really a small stadium!

I don't think the Jags front office ever decided not to try to win...

I was sticking to the fottyball type teams but you are correct!  The Suns are likely the best sports franchise in the history of Jacksonville.
