ONESTOP THRIFTSHOP

Signange Ordinance 2010-523  Weekend Directional Signage  was approved by the Planning Commissions Board on Thursday May 27th at the 1 pm meeting.  And has been sent back to the LUZ Board Committee.  Next LUZ meeting is June 2 at 5 pm at City Hall in the City Council Chambers on the 1st Floor.

I was there that stated that small business owners needs signs 7 days a week during the day. Not just between 3 pm on Friday to 3 pm on Sunday. These hours will not benefit alot of the small business owners like my business. Due to there is alot of small business owners that are not open on Sunday.

Also JTA does not need any of the monies coming from the fines to maintain there bus stops/bus benches.  They already have money coming in from bus fares and advertising. Are they miss managing there money?

Also the planning commission board did do 2 amendments to this ordinance 1 about how JTA will be aloud to use the 70% of funds and 2 that businesses will be allowed to put 2 signs with there business name on them 24 hours 7 days a week during construction near there business. After the contruction is done then no more signs to direct people to there business.

Also Mr Mark Hardesty Chairman on this board stated to me "You should have purchased property somewhere else.".    If he was any professional business person he would not have stated that to another business owner.  This statement was uncalled for and very unprofessional. I will let the people of this city know of this statement as well as the News too.

SO I AM CALLING OUT TO ALL
SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS to come to the next LUZ MEETING SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY JUNE 2 AT 5PM  IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL.   IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS OR CONCERNS PLEASE EMAIL ME AT onestopthriftshop@hotmail.com attn Donna. Or call me at 904-562-8939 cell between 9 am to 6 pm

AND ALSO SEE BELOW SO WE CAN LET THESE 2 CC MEMBERS KNOW HOW WE FEEL.
