JAX LGBTQ Rally :: Support DA School of the Arts :: Matthew Shepard Play - A local high school (Douglas Anderson School of the Arts) in Jacksonville is presenting a play about Matthew Shepard this weekend. The nationally known anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church will be protesting Saturday night’s performance 05/01/10 at 6:00pm -7:30pm. Let's drown out intolerance with a message of love. Let's support our Jacksonville youth who are sharing the important real-life story of LGBTQ hate crimes in our country. Please join the ACLU of FL's Northeast Regional Office and LGBTQ activists in a peaceful, counter-protest sending a message that Jacksonville will not tolerate bigotry and hate.
