jacksonville Axmen Full Contact Scrimmage May 8th 4:00pm

This is a good opportunity for those that are new at the sport to get a better understanding of some of the terms and game play.

The May 8 full contact scrimmage will start at 4pm at Hodges Stadium and is open to all season ticket holders and the venue will operate with full game day concessions, cheerleaders and all other regular season items. Walk up price will be $5 and as always, children 5 and under are admitted FREE.

Part of the scrimmage will be a short "Introduction to Rugby League" drill that will be used to help all fans understand the concept of the sport and it will be explained using as much American Football terms as possible in and effort to show just home similar the two sports are. The scrimmage itself will be used to allow players to prove to the coaching staff that they have both the skills and physical toughness to play at the level required.

All fans are asked to come and support those guys trying out and are reminded that season tickets for the Axemen start at just $20 and are available by clicking the link at the top of the home page
