In my tax season delirium I end up watching all sorts of random things at night.  Last night I stumbled onto a show on Vs. called "City Limits Fishing" with Mike Iaconelli, a professional fisherman who travels to different cities and tries to catch a certain number of different types of fish within the city limits.  This particular episode happened to be set in Jacksonville.

Overall, it made for a nice city travelogue.  Although Iaconelli mentioned early on the old saw about Jacksonville being a place you drive through on the way to other places in Florida, the vistas of downtown, the bridges, and the St. Johns and Broward Rivers were a nice advertisement for the city during the fishing sequences, as were the fact that Iaconelli and his partner were landing redfish and trout left and right along with a big flounder.

There were some interview sequences along Hemming Plaza, where various residents trumpeted Jacksonville as a great place to take a vacation (although one deeply confused person described a manatee as "a walrus without feet").  Iaconelli also highlighted the beaches and water-centered festivals and watched the chef at the Omni create a fish dish.  It ended up being a nice testimonial to Jacksonville as a place to visit and live.  And a reminder that I have been stuck inside for way too long.
The tourist would realize at once that he had struck the Land of Flowers - the City Beautiful!

I remember reading a short time ago that they had filmed the episode... I wish someone had announced when it was to be aired.  I have watched "City Limits Fishing" with Mike Iaconelli on occasion.  Interesting concept of good fishing in the urban landscape...
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."
