Hey stjr -
I know your info may have come from the state archives but,
My GGFather Spencer "Pete" Ford worked at the Central garage. I'm pretty sure my GGUncle even owned it at some point.
My question though is that he always told me it was located at the corner of Atlantic Blvd (Then known as The Beach Road) and Old Kings Road in South Jacksonville near San Marco.

Lets expand a little on Mayport for which the fla state archive needs to update its records
heres a couble of stories that needs to be included: One of Sandra Tuttles great grand parents brought the first ferry to jacksonville
