Event: Book signing at Hayden Burns Library on 2/3

Wanted to let everyone at Metro Jacksonville know that local writer Roderick Borisade and local illustrator Aaron Hazouri will be doing a book signing during the Art Walk this Wednesday, February 3, at the old Main Library. We'll be signing (and selling, of course) copies of our book "Buddy and Bird," a children's book celebrating the diversity of different socioeconomic groups in Jacksonville.

This is a great opportunity to pick up a first-print edition of the book, signed and personalized by the authors. We're hoping to bring about some change in Jacksonville by pointing out and celebrating our differences, from the urban core to the suburbs. We figure the best way to do this is to start with the kids (the book is geared towards ages 4 to 6).
