For decades,a militant anti Duval theme has been driving the promotions-and assumptions-behind the 'growth' of St.Johns and Clay.
For many,the lustre is wearing off.It was as inevitable as a scary future roadway map and a county planner with a smiling face promoting "inevitable" growth that would destroy the very attributes sold...and eventually,no longer delivered.
