Just wanted to let everyone know that David Williams, of the ARK Lawn Service had a heart attack and passed away this morning. I never saw David without a smile on his face and never heard him say an unkind word. He has worked tirelessly to keep Springfield clean and his enthusiasm was contagious. He will be greatly missed.

Yes, he will be missed. He's been awesome for this neighborhood. My thoughts & prayers go out to his family. I agree, I've never seen him without a smile and a wave.

Sad news indeed.  My condolences to his family.  He will be missed.

David will truly be missed.  Great guy!  As stated above he also had an ethusiastic attitude and did a lot of great things for Springfield.

It's very sad news indeed, David was such a nice guy...and you're right, never without a smile. He will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

He was a very kind man who helped several people by providing them with a steady job in his business. He had a great "can do" attitude and was always willing to help where he could. Please let us know service details when you hear them.

It will be odd to not have David frequently drive by and wave or just stop by to see how the yard is coming along. He removed some dead trees and stumps for us shortly after we moved to the neighborhood - had a great group of guys helping him then and again at neighborhood cleanups. His well-known friendly face in the neighborhood will be missed.
Corona Light, please. With a lime.

That smile, I hope he knew how the neighborhood felt about him.  It is terribly sad.

His family desparately needs financial help.  John Snyder at 1820 Market is collecting, I hope people can donate even if just a little

Springfielder

Perhaps one of the businesses like Three Layers can hold a benefit for them....

chris farley

Right now the funeral needs to be covered, s few dollars from everyone would go a long way

Springfielder

I'm currently working with Shawn (Three Layers) to see about pulling together some sort of benefit to help the family. Will pass on any info when plans are set
