Not at all.  And I guess everyone has entitlement to their opinion , but obviously there are those that would see it demolished because it is sitting empty.  or because it is old.   take your pick.   If FS 5 were falling apart, I would say, even though Im pro-historic, let it go..but it is not.. It has been well maintained.  To move this building would probably cost a bit more than demolishing but IF one were building an identical structure to it, then I personally think this justifies the cost of moving it somewhere close by.  Will it happen?  Probably not under the current administration as it is obvious they never meant to save it.  Will Fidelity save it??  I do not have an answer to that.. but they could be the hero of the hour , and get very good publicity by moving the building.. as to a location...take your pick  because Brooklyn is FULL of EMPTY spaces.    Jeez just the money spent to raze buildings for projects that were never to come to fruction alone ,would easily justify moving this tiny little house a few blocks.   I do not know what all is left that is historic in Brooklyn but I belive that building is the LAST on Riverside in Brooklyn that is historic..  Theres School 4, a couple of houses across the street from it , on College, and not a hell of alot else.   If these structures arent saved, it is a travesty..   As to M-Train and Sport motor's opinions,  Fine... I get it... but Brooklyn has nearly nothing left.. so I cannot and do not agree with your positions on these buildings.
