I may be out of line, but . . .

I'm watching a little late night television. AMC to be more specific, and Blazing Saddles is on.  Is it just me, or does the opening thirty plus minutes of this movie give you a comical vision of the leadership of Jacksonville?

I have to admit, I really miss old school unpolitical correct humor.  In this day and age, I think to many people are looking to be offended, rather than actually being offended.

Of course one of my all time favorite movies, caught it at the theater a couple of years ago when they did some promotion with classic movies, what a blast.

I don't want to disillusion you but it couldn't possibly be Jacksonville leadership that you notice, because later in the film they bust out of the 1800's.

Exactly, that is why I only referenced the first 30 or so minutes.

Not to mention Harvey is to tall to play the part of Peyton.

No but in another life and another time, Peyton does a REALLY good job of playing the role of HARVEY in the famous Jimmy Stewart movie of the same name! It doesn't matter that he's not 6' feet tall because nobody can see him anyway.
