It is interesting to see how many of these stories have changed throughout the year..my quick list

#1 Bay Street - no median was installed (may be good or bad depending on your perspective)
#5 BRT North - the proposed route changed and may still be in flux
#7 Cruise Terminal - dead (at least for now)
#14 Skyway Extension - may also be dead (for now)

Outstanding articles... every single one!  Congratulations!
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Its interesting to see what actually generates discussion and page views. I have heard several times that some of the more controversial topics are page view generators, but it seems thats not entirely true, based on this list.

The controversial ones attract some of us regular blowhards, but the informational ones attract the silent readers.

I took the title of the post to mean that only sanctioned Metro Jacksonville Articles were ranked- not general threads or discussions that may be started by anyone. I could be wrong, but I also agree that there are a lot of people who come on the site to read good informative articles, not to read the constant bickering back and forth.

Nice to see that roughly a third, depending on how you classify the articles, are related to Jax history.  As we have discussed before, there appears to be an unfilled need for details of our past.  And, with the destruction of so much of our heritage, articles and pictures on MJ are often the only way many can appreciate it.  Good job.
Hey!  Whatever happened to just plain ol' COMMON SENSE!!

Sad not to see more people interested in the Jacksonville Jazz move to Laura Street. It was way cool and I can't wait for the same in May of 2010.
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

"This is a game-changer. This is what I mean when I say taking Jacksonville to the next level."
-Mayor Alvin Brown on new video boards at Everbank Field

remember it won't be on Laura St this year because of the construction....maybe Julia or Hogan

But Hogan has that permanent concrete cloud over it.
