QuoteThe Museum of Contemporary Art is an institution that exhibits some of the most important examples of contemporary art. Some of the biggest names in the post World War II art world have exhibited in its galleries, but the museum also offers an opportunity to view the work of talented local artists who have yet to be discovered by the world.

“Lab Gallery” is located on the first floor in MOCA’s museum shop and it’s where local artists are invited to exhibit their work. It began as a summer project but has proven to so popular that artists will exhibit their works at least through the end of the year.

Wednesday will be the last day of exhibit for a collection of photographs by Ryan Ketterman. Thursday a new exhibit will be in the gallery, paintings by Brenda Adams and Tiffany Rodriguez and a holiday-themed exhibit will open Dec. 3. All art on display in Lab Gallery is for sale.

To find out how to submit work for consideration as an exhibit call Christianna White, gallery manager, at 366-6911, ext. 211.
