(JEA) some authorized payment-only locations (RIP OFF)

  First off most of the time I pay my Bills on line or by stamp. But once in awhile I paid ed my Comcast and JEA bills at there payment locations, sliding the bill & check into a lock box. No stamp no standing in line NO MORE back on October 1st 2009 (JEA) will charge you a $2.00 dollar fee if you place in drop box or go to one of there payment locations. So If your JEA bill is due you can go to a JEA Authorized Payment Location which you can find on line. So that's what I did and found one on Timuquana Rd close to my home called the (Treasure Food Store) Now on line JEA says there is no fee at these locations. Well sorry a man behind the counter said it would cost me $1.00 I said thanks no thanks and left I went back home and called JEA to report this man! Now lets see if anything will be done to him. I then went to the BP on Timuquana and paid ed my JEA bill and I didn't have to pay anything else. JEA this is why so many people think you are screwing us, and why we all get ticked off when you all talk about YOUR YEARLY BONUS!

He deserves a dollar for providing the service, perhaps the JEA website hasn't been unpdated yet to reflect the service charge.  How much effort are you going to spend complaining here instead of contacting JEA?  Did you even say anything to the guy at the store when he said it would cost you a whopping 100 pennies to pay your bill at a gas station instead?  Sorry, but your priorities seem a little wacky.

I did tell JEA (TREE4309) via Phone and I went on line and under the Payment Options Guide it says Paying your bill at a JEA payment only location is Free. And when you go to a store that follows these rules on your receipt it also says NO FEES to pay JEA.
