By the way, if you visit any of the restaurants and other places mentioned here or on other threads because you found them on Metrojacksonville.com,  you might mention to that manager that you saw them listed here. Make sure, too, they know how to find us (http://www.metrojacksonville.com/). We might get more input, if you'd like that, that way.  Maybe we could make up some sort of card and put it on the site so we can copy it -- I'll leave that to those of you who know more about this sort of thing.  Eventually we might want to carry advertising and it wouldn't hurt for businesses to know we're here.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Where is Thai Garden?  The southside/baymeadows intersection has 3 or 4 that are pretty good (Lemongrass, Pattaya Thai, and 5th element (never been there, but looks busy)).  Thanks for the heads up about Harp's, it's one of my favorites.

Thai Garden is in Orange Park on the right hand side of Blanding headed south just before the mall.

So far, since moving here, I've tried a few places.  I really like the Cool Moose Cafe, Blue Bamboo, and La Nopalera (love the happy hour).  I tried Steak n Shake for the first time ever last night and I liked it too.  Not a big fan of European Street Cafe.  The Grape was fun but expensive for eating.  Sumo Sushi - by far my favorite!!!!!  I also went to Yummy Sushi and it was pretty good.  Nice presentation.  I want to try Seven Bridges and Fontana as well as the brunch at The Crabcake Factory.  Oh and how could I forget The Fox is the best for breakfast!

Billy, If you remember the drive-in across from Bishop Kenny and Assumption you are indeed growing old!  Cruising through with WAPE-AM blasting on the radio; round and round looking for friends and showing off, dressed in pink and black.  yow!
When all else fails hug the dog.

Please, we're not talking Happy Days, more like Dazed and Confused era.......
