Sushi - Sake House or Sushi Rock
Steak - Capital Grille
Pizza - Mellow Mushroom
Burgers - Five Guys or The Loop
Pork - The Row (maybe my favorite place in Jax)
Italian - Mezza Luna
Mexican - La Nopalera
Copious Amounts of Lightly Cooked Animal - Espeto
Date Night - BB's, The Brick, Bistro Aix
Valentine's Day - Melting Pot
After work - Mossfire Grill

I've also become a big fan of Johnny Angel's Diner on the corner of Beach and St. John's Bluff. Really good sandwiches, clean, and a real fun atmosphere. Bad location though, which I hope doesn't doom them.

MMMMMM!  I almost forgot about the Mossfire Grill.  YUMMMM!

Is the Goal Post still open in Avondale?

I was wondering the exact same thing today, as I drove by like 3 of them within 10 minutes. They are springing up everywhere, and none of them really appear to be that busy. There must be some hotdog-cart pyramid scheme running around here.

Nice little spot in Ponte Vedra called The Palm Valley Fish Camp..... Right next to Lulu's on Solano Rd west of A1A about a mile up on your right.

Speaking of hot dogs.  The Hot Dog Shack down in Jax Beach is so good!

Rosy's is excellent mexican. Get chicken nachos as appetizer and carne pibil for entree
copelands is pricey but lunch is exceptionally priced. Specialize in nawlins grub but everything is good. Even their ribs and wings.
Ribs BBQ sauce has apple in it. Scrumptious. Wings are excellent appetizer

No one has mentioned the French Pantry?  Good lord, some of you are really missing out if you haven't been there.  Also, the best pizza in town unequivocally belongs to Picasso's in Mandarin.
