Private Lives, the witty witty play by a man renowned for his dry wit is being revived by the St. Augustine Theatre.

Private Lives, one of my favorite shows, is a classic staple of British comedy. Noel Coward wrote the parts of Elyot and Amanda for himself and Gertrude Lawrence. Despite its roots as a vanity project, it has endured for 80 years and starred names such as Laurence Olivier, Richard Burton, Maggie Smith, Elizabeth Taylor, and Alan Rickman.

Theatre Saint Augustine strives to bring the best of classical theatre to north Florida. Private Lives has been an amazing run. Three of our talented cast were from Jacksonville: Robb Chamberlain, Diandra Pendleton-Thompson and Tyler Patton. There is a possibility of reviving the production, so keep an eye on us!
