Are there any fans of Dorothy Parker on this board?

I love the wit and sharp tongue of America's first great belle lettrist.

I also love her short poems.

On Suicide:
Quote
Résumé

Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live.

Dog Walker

She also wrote, "Men don't make passes at girls that wear glasses."
When all else fails hug the dog.

Dog Walker

Was she the one who said, "If you can't say anything nice about someone, then come sit next to me."?
When all else fails hug the dog.
