Just my point, Stephen.  Can't we get someone who is less embedded in the power elite and has a different agenda from them?  Knowing the power brokers is not the same as being supported and run by them.

Mr. Preston and Mr. Haskell are fine businessmen and philanthropists, but I am not convinced that they are involved in politics out of the goodness of their hearts.

Michael Muntz is an orc.

I don't think you can be an effective mayor of any large city unless you are privy to the machinations of the various powerbases.

stephendare.........therein lies the problem, at what point do you do what is right rather than what one of the various powerbases says is right? It would be nice to have someone outside of the various powerbases to the lead and do what is right! I am not sure, at all, Audrey is the one.............in fact no one who has declared really enthuses me at all! I don't want re-cycling, I want someone who can do the job and thats iffy to this point!

THE ISSUE OF THE MAYORAL RACE IS THE MASS TRANSIT CATALYST THAT DRIVES AND/OR SOLVES ALL OF THESE ISSUES!

perhaps you should check Ms. Moran's platform before assuming that she is "run by them"

Looks like Audrey may need to up her bandwidth if she wants people to hang around for her video.  Or, it just me?
Hey!  Whatever happened to just plain ol' COMMON SENSE!!

CS Foltz

I am trying to keep an open mind, even though I feel Audrey is not the one, since she or none of the other declared Mayoral Candidates, have not said much about anything  to anyone. The idea of a panel of candidates fielding questions from the public appeals to me since it is kind of hard to drop in to Political Speak when confronted with black & white questions. There is much that has not been said to this point and much that needs to be known from any candidate regarding their positions on a variety of issues! I am on the lookout for someone who has  plan and a vision and has some idea of how to fund that vision!

^ I just posted something similar on the January Poll thread, Foltz.  I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this way.

brainstormer................I think there is more than just you and me who think that way! Still very early in the process and time will tell!
