No, not MichaelJacksonville - but MetroJacksonville!  sheesh.  it's so obvious

What the hell does Michael have to do with this city, anyway?  He gave what, a handful of concerts here?  Did he even know what city he was in?  (a comment on touring performers, not MJ himself)

For all the Tolkien fans - combine Riverside and Avondale ... Rivendale!

To Charles Hunter: I thought he began hie rehearsals here for the initial concerts he gave here. i heard that many people believed that his stay here generated significant money for the city.
To jbroadglide: I understand what you re saying. i initially felt the same way. But , in a serious tone, i believe what the publics experiencing right now, is that MJ was the most famous person ever. I know this is heavy, but that is the point- whether you like him or not isnt the point. I dont believe there will ever be one more famous, solely for the times we live in today. When we look at it in that matter, the event, for me, takes on a different perspective. i mean its funny, entertaining, to watch the night talk shows duck this "event". Isnt it weird that this death needs to be rephrased as an event?
Also, we ll never make any money keeping the city named after President Jackson. I think theres a good chance the city could negotiate good numbers with the Jackson estate.
RiverPhoenixside has strong possibilities, we need to talk to his representitives of the possibilities!
