A downtown with a plan? Enter Nashville

I found this very interesting webpage from the City of Nashville's website about a guideline and plan for the whole core and it's neighborhoods and districts.

It currently has a plan from 2007, but a new Downtown Code has been drafted to go into further detail. I suggest everyone read it because this is pretty much what downtown Jacksonville should be following. Nashville and Jax have many similarities and can give ideas to each other. However, I suggest Jax take a seat and listen to what Nashville has planned and made law practically.
