Warren Jones to be sworn in Monday

It's for-real this time.

Monday at 10:00 a.m. in Council chambers.

In terms of seniority, it actually gives him a slight advantage over the other 9 people who will be sworn in later in the month.  If that sort of thing matters on the Jacksonville City Council.

... and, he was. At around 10:30 this morning, Judge Ruth performed the ceremony. Warren's wife Vanessa held the Bible while Warren took the oath.

Many dignitaries were on-hand including Mayor Austin and former Council President Terry Wood.
