Here's my cheap shot - Remember that like the Monorail folks, Maglev is said to be the "future" of train travel.
BULL SHIT!
Maglev is a costly toy that calls for the reinvention of the wheel. The speed record set on Maglev is 381 MPH and the speed for Steel Wheel on Steel Rail is 357 MPH! In other words, are you prepaired to have our state spend Billions to recreate the train, just so it can travel at about the same speed? Dumb Idea.
