Today there was a luncheon held by the Gateway council of Girl Scouts at which awards were given to honorees for being women of distinction. This luncheon raised over $100K for Girl Scout programs that benefit the community.
I only got to hear a few of the speeches, but the women I heard speak were articulate. I don't know what I did with my program or I'd list the honorees. If anyone else has it I think it would be lovely to mention who won the awards this year.
Girl Scouts will be 100 years old in 3 years.
