Welcome, Waldorf.  Sorry, but I scooped you by about 24 hours.  Have to get up pretty early in the morning (or stay up very late at night) to get the early bird worm on MJ.  LOL.

By the way, I take it you are a Hilton (not Paris, her family's hotels!) fan?  I recall staying at the Statler Hilton in downtown DC as a kid.  Of course, the Waldorf in NY is also a Hilton.
Hey!  Whatever happened to just plain ol' COMMON SENSE!!

I'm depressed because, unlike other cities our size our Downtown continues to be used as one big homeless dumping ground instead of being developed into a vibrant, exciting urban core where voting, taxpaying citizens can go to enjoy themselves.

Downtown is better now than it was ten years ago.

There's always been the homeless. At least now there's a few options to go to afterhours  and a handful of places to live.

If it weren't for this stupid recession, it'd be a lot further along.

Too much time spent in air conditioned cars and air conditioned spaces drinking beer, smoking ciggies and being pissed off about the government taking away our rights to be ignorant. Depressed just thinking about it.
