Most mock drafts I have seen is Jags trading out of the eight spot so someone grabs Sanchez.  I have even seen a few having the Jags taking Sanchez.  Personally I cannot see them taking a WR in round one.  They been burnt too mant times there!  They will not use a first rounder on a RB either... hell they just paid mojo for that job.  Raji or Smith are possibilities if they stay at eight.  I just think they are looking to trade down and gain a few picks and still get what they want.
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

My guess would be Raji or best WR available.

Trading out is a strong possability too.

Andre Smith could be a surprise....

NFL Network has reported that the Jags and Jets have reached a deal to trade picks if a particular player is available at #8.  They didn't say which player it is, but I have to imagine it's Sanchez.  I have no idea who the Jags would pick at #17.  Maybe Harvin.

If Sanchez isn't there at #8, my guess is the Jags take Raji if he's available, otherwise Crabtree or Maclin if either of them are.  If none of those four are left, that means Monroe has slipped to #8, and the Jags have to take him there.

I hope it happens for the Jags... they need bodies in too many places.  Well... that and I want the Packers to get Raji... ;)

Eugene Monroe.  Oh well.  Their oline is full of holes as well.

They have a ton of holes and he should start right away...

This is good news. A top-rated o-line player is the most important building block for your offense.

I guess with the Monroe pick, and our new "kinda blah" unis, the Jags new 09' slogan should be "Better to be safe than sorry". Just kidding; It wasn't a bad pick; If Eugene could be 60 percent of what Boselli(The Pride of the Jaguars) was, we'll be doing good. How bout The Raiders skipping Crabtree, and picking Bey; WTF; Only in the world of Al Davis.

When a team takes 2 O-tackles on the first day of the draft after just signing a quality free agent O-tackle you know they're taking the best available player regardless of position or need.  I think they're doing it the right way.

wrong....the best player on the board at #8 was Crabtree...but the Jags needed o-line help more than WR.

In the second round, they still didn't take the best player....I know this going to sound biased, but they passed on Everette Brown from FSU...who was supposed to be a mid-to-late first rounder.

And while the Jags needed o-line help, they have too many holes to fill to take o-line with the first 2 picks.

He meant best available player according to the Jags' board...not yours. I wanted to see Crabtree too, but oh well...from what I read, this guy was great value even as an 8th pick.

I wanted Everette Brown as well but OL is an area you can always use more. OL can also make other positions look better than they are I am OK with it.

I have no problem at all with the first round pick....its the second round that made no sense to me
