It would appear that there's a flowering tree sale on the 28th, being held at Philips and Emerson, with prices at $10 a tree and the proceeds going toward tree plantings. I can't be there to go, so spreading the word is the next best thing I can do for the group.

Thanks for the heads up.  I think I'll be checking it out.

Welcome to MetroJax Kelly!

Count me in, me and my other half need a Drake Elm for the front yard.

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Is there normally a large turnout?  I'd like to get a hold of an Oak or two and maybe a Crape Myrtle.

Kelly probably knows more but I seem to remember them selling all the "good" trees before noon.

Yeah you have to get there early. I went last year at around noon, and there was nothing left, at least nothing worth taking.

I went there a few years back at 7 i the morning and there were cars just lined up everywhere. when i got to the front all the good trees were gone, only regular oaks and maples were basically left.

A huge turnout, get there early right when it starts.  there are a couple of native plant vendors that show up and have some very unique plants from north florida south georgia.

Nah, man, I just found this on the internet. Good to see the interest, though!
