Please do not forget the families of Vets...  After they leave for points abroad the wife/husband and children are left to cope with everyday life and decisions without the help of the other.  Their sacrifices enable the soldier/sailor/airman to do their job...
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

The VFW has a great program, you can buy phone cards for our soldiers deployed to call home. If you ever wanted to do something...this is a great option !

We didn't all post here, but we are all surely thankful. Many of us took time yesterday to honor our family and friends who are vets and to reach out to those whose loved ones are currently serving.
