BTW, Brewster is looking great.  I wish more new buildings would feature the brick facade with a wooden front porch.  This is another of Jacksonville's trademark architectural styles. 

Another fine example of this is the old St. Luke's Hospital in Fairfield:

What's Brewster gonna be? Will it be a functional hospital? Does hospital mean something else besides what I think?

"Hospital" is the historic use of the building.  I'm not sure what will end up in there when renovation is complete.

My understanding was that it was to be a museum of some sort.

I love those Riverside projects. As long as Riverside, Springfield, and San Marco continue their transformations it will slowly creep into downtown. I do get excited about the big projects DT but I think a lot of smaller ground level projects could do wonders. Yes I know I am preaching to the choir!
