Note, this isn't the Lighthouse one, it's the one next to it (between Lighthouse garage and the Publix site). Permits filed.

Keep rolling!

Yeah, they just made it official but the plans have been there a while.

It looks like the Homer Dome demo is about to begin. Laura St and the outside lane of Union are now closed.

They're really plugging away at this. More activity than the Northbank core has seen in years all at once.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

They used to call that 10,000 seat auditorium the Homer Dome back in the day, since it was built back with Homer Lindsay, Jr was the pastor.

Love the baseball reference.

For those that don't know, the old Minnesota Twins stadium - the Metrodome - was nicknamed the HomerDome as it was a very hitter friendly park. It was also known as the Baggie Dome since the park had retractable seats for football that just folded up in right field, and they "hid" them horribly with a tarp that usually had a car advertisement and the whole thing resembled a trash bag.

Anyway....back to the show!
