Flamingo Coffee can build-out on the Downtown Southbank

The Flamingo is coming to Hanania Place on the Downtown Southbank now that the city issued a permit Feb. 4 for the $157,950 project.

Murray Hill's Flamingo coffee,  bar and cafe is expanding after the Downtown Investment Authority board approved a $53,430 Retail Enhancement Program grant Aug. 21 to Flamingo Coffee Roasters LLC to establish a 1,781-square-foot coffee, wine and beer bar and restaurant in the 10-story Hanania Place building.

The Flaming will share the Hanania Building's lobby with a sandwich deli that closes at 3 p.m.
