An update to the 1985 survey is being conducted soon, a partnership between COJ and UF City Lab. It will (hypothetically) capture those properties who were not eligible to be considered "contributing" in 1985 but are now, ie, mid-century modern. And also properties who had architectural/historic significance that was just too hidden to document then, but has been realized since. Should be a cool project.

I'm hoping they can survey a little more than the current NR boundaries. It would be good to expand the district so that more properties have additional resources for preservation and rehabilitation. I've spoken to UF about this and will try to keep my eyes on the progress.
