Connections was tricky - rated 5 out of 5 for difficulty by the ConnectionsBot - but I managed to get it with no errors.

After being stuck for a bit, I got Strands with no hints.

Still working on getting the hang of Connections as I bust most times.  Strands I have down.  Although not a Swiftie, I was able to solve with no hints.

Got 2 on Connections again before busting.  This looks to be more of a trivia contest than not  .

With 7 hints! I got today's Strands but really only got 2 of 7 words on my own.  All the rest were not "standard" words so I was thrown off and, when I looked up the main theme word, it appears they misspelled it with one extra letter on the end... not that I would have gotten that word as I never heard of it before.  This broke by long running streak of solving with no hints.  Uuggh!

Connections - 1 error - a tough one today, more than half the people playing failed (as of 10 AM US Eastern time - the numbers change as people complete the puzzle)

Strands - no hints - lots of pondering until I figured out the connection (oh, wait, that's a different game); I wondered about the spelling of the "Spangram" word, too - but the dictionary says that is the plural

Wordle 1,279 4/6 - Had 4 letters on first guess but at least 4 possible for the 5th.  Of course, the right one would be my last guess!  I think the NYT puzzle creators must road test these puzzles to determine which letters are the least likely to be guessed in such situations  .
