She said the NYT is using the original Wordle word list provided by the inventor of Wordle, and it has enough words to last to 2027.
Also, there are no "current" plans to charge for Wordle.

Good to hear as Quordle words are much more off the beaten path lowering my winning percentage, currently at 73%, vs. 98+% on Wordle  ;D.
